What is GateKeeper?
GateKeeper is a mobile application that provides a six-digit one-time password, which you should provide in addition to your username and password to log into your Accounts opened with a Third Party Provider and to confirm your active operations that require authorization. The app can be used for multiple accounts. You can get an authorization code even if you do not have an Internet connection or mobile service.
The GateKeeper mobile app works only when paired with an Account. Once the application is set-up, it generates different authorization codes for each connected Account. The generated codes are unique for each of the accounts and are constantly changing.
The GateKeeper Mobile app is available for devices with operation systems iOS and Android.
How does it work?
In order to work the GateKeeper app should be linked to the Account you want to secure. Once the app is set-up with your account, it will start to generate authorization codes.
When you enable the GateKeeper authentication method and set-up the app, you will sign into your account by entering your username and password as usual, and you will be prompt to enter an authorization code from your GateKeeper app.
Whenever a confirmation code is required, you will be able to get one form the app.
This authorization code is valid only for one minute and once expired, the app generates a new one.
If you want to turn off the GateKeeper authentication method, you need to access your Account Profile / User Settings.
